Do I Need an Eye Exam?

When Should I Get an Eye Exam?

But how often should you get them? Your eye exam schedule changes depending on your age. Keep in mind that your frequency may increase if you are at risk or have a family history of ocular disease.
At Clarity Eyecare, we follow the guidance set out by the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO):
- Adults between 20 and 39 should have an eye exam every 2 to 3 years.
- Adults between 40 and 64 should have an eye exam every 2 years.
- Adults over 65 should have an eye exam every year.
